America's Boating Club is a registered Trademark of the United States Power Squadrons.
The America's Boating Club of the Catawba sponsors Sea Scout Ship Lake Wylie (Ship 427), a unit of the York District, Palmetto Council, Boy Scouts of America.  The mission of SSS Lake Wylie is to teach citizenship, character development and mental and physical fitness and prepare its youth members to make ethical choices throughout their lives.  SSS Lake Wylie serves young men and women ages 14 (or 13 and completed the eighth grade) to 21. The Ship program is focused on nautical/aquatic activities.  Currently, the ship is inactive but is looking for new members and adults who are interested in the program.
