Simple guidelines to help keep you safe while boating

A Guide to Boating Safety
Catawba Sail & Power Squadron is a non-profit organization and a unit of the United States Power Squadrons®  (USPS) dedicated to educating boaters on basic safe boating procedures, teaching advanced and elective courses for members, raising awareness of water safety issues, and offering free vessel safety checks and opportunities for socialization to area boaters. We also keep boaters up-to-date on changing laws regarding recreational boating and boating safety requirements.

Our activities include such things as raft-ups and rendezvous with other USPS squadrons, cook-outs and picnics, dinner meetings, attending  district and national  USPS conferences, award programs, community service projects, and organizing co-op charting cruises and predictive log competitions.
